Having recently stayed at Hakon Gjestehus for a weekend getaway, I was thoroughly impressed by the serene village setting and stunning fjord views just a stone's throw away. The easily accessible cycling and walking paths along the main road provided the perfect opportunity to soak in the natural beauty of the surroundings.The owner's warm hospitality and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure our comfort made our stay truly memorable. From the delicious breakfast prepared by the talented chef to the mouthwatering Norwegian and Thai dishes at the à la carte restaurant, every meal was a delightful culinary experience.The cozy guest rooms, some with sea or mountain views, were tastefully decorated and thoughtfully equipped with modern amenities like free WiFi. The shared lounge onsite was a welcoming space to unwind and connect with fellow travelers, adding to the sense of community at the guesthouse.Hakon Gjestehus exceeded my expectations with its impeccable service, comfortable accommodations, and convenient location near shops and commercial services.
